Vera Munderloh on 24-year-old Lusitano stallion
Today, 24-year-old Lusitano stallion Novilunio and his rider Vera Munderloh demonstrated their repertoire riding in a headcollar instead of the double bridle. This video depicts beautifully how the stallion presents himself with lightness, independent of the hand, but in excellent contact with the rider’s seat even in difficult movements. And, although well-advanced in years, Novilunio is remarkably supple. This is the result of horse-appropriate training according to classical principles – a pleasure for horse and rider!
